He served as an economic advisor to the Anti-Unemployment Commission in Damascus, Syria in 2004, and submitted his report on resolving Syria's unemployment crisis in 2005.
In 2007, he contributed to the forward-looking study with the UNDP titled "Foreseeing the future of Syria in 2025".
